Greek Sea is an original abstract landscape painting on heavyweight paper, which has a slight tooth and allows me to express the essential nature of the feeling of being surrounded by blue seas and clear skies on a Greek island.
I have deliberately taken a minimalist approach in this painting, not for the sake of economy but with the intention of distilling the essential elements required to communicate a mood or a sense of place. It became a point of exploration in order to discover the essence of place.
